Outdoor Adventure Center
The Outdoor Adventure Center (located 1 block from the Bush House Inn) is our partner in providing incredible guided river adventures for all ages and adventure levels. In season, OAC offers thrilling class III-V whitewater rafting, family-friendly river float trips, inflatable kayaking tours, kayak instruction, rescue training, custom team building events, youth classes and summer camps, and so much more. You can inquire about their available activities when you arrive in Index, or schedule your adventure ahead of your arrival.

Hiking Near Index, WA
There are so many trails, lakes, waterfalls, and viewpoints to explore near the Town of Index, Washington! Whether you are looking for a leisurely stroll, or a challenging climb, there are several options for you.
Most of our area hiking trails are accessible from May through October, though this can vary from season to season depending on the snow level and other factors. We suggest checking the recent trail reports on the Washington Trail Association website when planning your trip.
Index is located in the area known as the "Central Cascades, Stevens Pass West."
